QUINT / SKIN & MICRONEEDLING GUIDES

When Can You Wash Your Face After Microneedling?

There is no single washing time that should replace the instructions for your treatment. After a clinical procedure, follow the clinician’s aftercare plan. For Q.FACE, follow the directions enclosed with your current kit; the online guide does not specify a post-session washing interval.

Preparation and aftercare are different steps

The Q.FACE guide tells you to cleanse before a session, pat dry and begin with clean, dry skin without other products. That preparation instruction does not establish when to wash afterward.

The same applies to another product’s instructions. A leave-on instruction for a scalp routine is not automatically a facial aftercare rule. Use the directions for the product and area you actually treated.

Get the timing and products confirmed

Before a planned session, check when cleansing may resume, which cleanser is suitable and whether your other products should be paused. If the directions are missing or unclear, clarify them before use.

For a clinical treatment, ask the treating provider. For a Q.FACE kit, keep the enclosed instructions and contact QUINT if you need help identifying the correct version. A general online schedule is not a substitute for those directions.

Keep routine questions separate from skin reactions

The American Academy of Dermatology emphasizes following a dermatologist’s aftercare instructions after clinical microneedling. If skin is painful, worsening or otherwise concerning, ask for an assessment rather than simply changing the wash time.

Q.FACE should not be used on irritated skin, open wounds or active acne. Each vial is single-use. Do not repeat a session to compensate for uncertainty about aftercare.

Q.FACE directions and evidence

Read the Q.FACE directions and precautions and the instructions enclosed with your current kit before use. Explore the ingredients and product details and the individual case study and its limitations. Clinical microneedling guidance does not establish the safety, recovery time or results of a particular at-home kit.
